Manage team accountable for the development and delivery of the commercial and systems curriculum supporting Trading, Marketing & Origination and Operations talent within the business. Reorganized team to better leverage personal capabilities and break down team silos.
Key Accomplishments:
•Revolutionized our approach to training traders globally, delivering a unique, state-of-the-art, commodity trading simulator which is reinventing the way we recruit, train and assess potential traders.
•Increased our recruiting pipeline with the development and delivery of The Sophomore Experience –a week-long introduction to BP and the world of commodity trading. This program supports the strategy to attract students at a younger age, before they are snapped up by banks. 24 students participated in the 2011 pilot. 18 applied for 2012 internships and 11 were offered roles.
•Challenged the status quo with the pilot of the Executive Trader Development Program (ETDP). The current male / female ratio on BP’s US trading floor is 32:1.
