We have proficiency in all bridge designs including Long Span bridges, Segmental bridges, Cable Stayed bridges, Movable bridges and Suspension Bridges as well as conventional bridges.  We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team in Buffalo - build bridges, enrich skylines and improve the efficiency of transportation!  If you are the right one for us, you see the design process as more than just a job, are passionate about the details and already have a few great projects under your belt!  In this role, you will support both design and construction projects for Bridge Rehabilitation projects in Buffalo NY.  You will perform structural analysis of both concrete and steel structures, prepare design calculation, develop drawings and perform other related tasks. 
Other Responsibilities include:
  • Determines creative and innovative methods and solutions for bridge engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives. 
  • Develops structural details and construction plans using MicroStation or AutoCAD
  • Prepares geometric layouts, construction specifications and material quantity calculations.


  • BS degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • 3-5 years of related work experience on steel and / or concrete bridges or related heavy structures
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate preferred
  • May consider candidate with Masters degree with 1-2 years experience
  • Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with Civil and Structural Design / Bridge Engineering
  • MicroStation experience desirable 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software
