The successful candidate will join a campus that exhibits its dedication to its students and faculty through offering robust, culturally responsive events, including speaker series dedicated to heritage month events through the Social Justice and Equity Center.

The Computer Science Department is committed to providing students an excellent foundation in computer science, introducing them to the discipline specialties available in this field, and preparing them to meet their educational goals. These efforts include student engagement through the Computer Science Club and community outreach through events that promote teaching middle school girls and students of color how to program which includes the GirlTech Conference and Expo, Girls Inc. coding party, and the Encuentros Conference. The department currently consists of two full-time faculty members committed to providing students with an exceptional learning experience.
