At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek an Account Manager - Quest Select for Employer Solutions in our Lenexa, KS location.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Basic Purpose:

The Team Account Manager (TAM) provides customer support to maintain our existing business and manage account retention. The TAM will communicate with customers (mainly via phone and email), and will have responsibly to assist our customers primarily while their dedicated Account Manager is out of the office. The TAM utilizes excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and our internal support groups and in turn build strong business relationships based on Quest Diagnostics products, services, and capabilities. This position works closely with all Account Managers on our team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

List statements which specifically describe the major functions of the position. 

 

-       Provide account management support for approximately 18 Account Managers and our top 1200 accounts.

-       Provide day to day support for customers, problem solving, service requests, regulatory and legal questions and organization inquiries on a daily basis.

-       Provide on-going customer satisfaction by answering questions and resolving issues

-       Lead, facilitate, and trouble shoot on-going customer satisfaction by coordinating service levels  through strategic interactions with product and marketing teams, sales operations, information technology, and client services (customer service).

-       Share information around new products and identify service expansion opportunities available.

-       Demonstrate expertise in the products, testing, and related services to be shared in conjunction with marketing strategies.

-       Maintain detailed records of customer activities through SalesForce.com.

-       Provide customized data management and customer reports as needed to show the value of our products and services, and position Quest Diagnostics for growth.

-       Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and produce required deliverables by the established deadlines with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy.

-       Help team meet and exceed revenue goals assigned to book of business.

Qualifications:

Education Preferred: 

Bachelor or Associates degree preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Work Experience:

Minimum 2 years over the phone account management and/or sales experience preferred.

 

Other:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (including experience giving presentations).

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective customer/business relationships.

Organizational and Project Management Skills exercised by managing a large number of customer and projects meeting deadlines in an accurate and timely fashion.

Able to work independently and make decisions as needed to meet goals.

Ability to investigate and identify the root issue of customer problems, and bring complete resolution.

Strong skill set in consultative problem solving, attention to detail, operational analysis and process review.

Team oriented. Proven ability to work collaboratively, providing direction to, and receiving feedback from, peers and Manager. Provide assistance to other team members as needed and when requested.

Fully competent in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
