Teri Kozeluh Thank you for the opportunity to join your group. I'm not truly an accountant. I'm a bookkeeper. I recently joined NAPW because I am hoping to start a small home business. I've been disabled since 2010 and am not able to sit and work long hours anymore. I would like to do "after-the-fact" bookkeeping for small businesses who need help getting their records ready for the accountant. I live in the Monterey, California area. I look forward to reading some posts. Teri Kozeluh Three Sisters Bookkeeping

Sharon Ortiz I've got a question about writing off a business expense which may be a "No Brainer" to an Accountant, but has me a bit stumped : I'm have an S-Corp registered in NJ, and am relocating to TX over the next few weeks. I'll be buying and registering a car mid Early November in TX (before dissolving the NJ S-Corp)which will be 50% work 50% personal use . Since I'm buying and registering the car in TX, will I there be any problem writing it off for a NJ S-Corp?s or am I better off waiting until after Jan 1st when I'm registered in TX to buy the car? ANY advice you have would be GREAT!
