For years prior to my dysthymia diagnosis in 2010, I got mad at anything and everything. If some event during the day did not go as I wanted or I perceived it as "bad", my anger flared. And I didn't stay mad for a minute or an hour but for as long as a day or a week or maybe even for months or years.
