Welcome Dr. Perdue!!!
Dr. Perdue is a creative, energetic advocate for the appropriate and effective use of technology in the classroom. Throughout her extensive career, she has consistently used inquiry-based, student-centered methodologies to help other teachers enhance their students' learning experience. During her tenure as Assistant Professor at West Texas A & M University and as Associate Professor at Virginia State University, she successfully incorporated the use of tools such as Blackboard, Voki, Moodle, Geometer's Sketchpad software and graphing calculator technologies into her Mathematics and Mathematics Education courses. As a Fulbright Scholar to Rwanda, Dr. Perdue served as the Director of E-learning at KIST (Kigali Institute for Science and Technology) and mathematics faculty member at KIE (Kigali Institute of Education). Currently, Dr. Perdue has begun a new business offering educational resources to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics via meaningful math moments.
