It is hard to believe, but there are actually firms out there that are doing business without having a website. (really??) Are you one of them?
Seriously, many small companies don’t believe that they have the time or funds to invest in an Internet strategy, but in the long run, this is penny wise and pound foolish. Fear of the unknown is a factor. People may be good at their core business, but when creating a web presence they don’t know what to do, how to get it done or how to measure marketing ROI.

However, we live in a world that checks out any potential vendor, product, person or idea by searching the Internet, most likely through Google. The proliferation of devices that are Internet-ready, from smartphones to TVs ensure that using the Internet is a part of everyone’s daily life, everyday, because these devices are in everyone’s hands.
If your business doesn’t appear in search results, either by searching for your name, product, or profession, you will lose potential clients or customers. That is the bottom line.
Perception is reality. If you are not putting out relevant, and compelling content about you and your business on the Internet, then you are risking your credibility in the marketplace because you are perceived as not providing a relevant service or product, because you are not THERE!
You need to be there. Your competitors already are.
I joined the NAPW to meet and work with dynamic women. I've never had a tight professional female peer group, because my profession has been male dominated. But due to my years of experience in that world, I can help you in understanding your internal technology and how to make the internet part of how you market your business - especially, what you do and do not need to know. I'm happy to advise and help you implement in a cost-effective manner. I also give free advice, much to my accountant's dismay.....
