The Many Faces of Domestic Violence - Charity Dinner

On Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at Burton Manor Banquet and Conference Center in Livonia, Looking for My Sister will host the 7thAnnual Charity Fundraising Gala (LFMS). Established in 2002 Looking for My Sister is one of the domestic violence organizations in the forefront in the Metropolitan tri-county area that work towards the prevention and cessation of domestic violence through education, outreach and intervention by providing short and long-term solutions to victims of domestic violence. Domestic violence is occurs in our neighborhoods, schools, households, workplaces and churches. It is our friends, loved ones, co-workers, neighbors and children who are suffering from abuse. Statistics show that domestic violence is on the rise not only here in Detroit, but nationwide.

We would like to request for you to come out and support our Annual charity Gala scheduled for Thursday, September 30, 2010 @ Burton Manor in Livonia, MI.  The theme of this year’s event is “The Many Faces of Domestic Violence" tickets are $75.00 and all procedes go to provide housing to homeless victims of domestic/sexual abuse.
