Ladies, we’ve had a good start at building our monthly meetings! Thank you to Diane Jones, Colette House, Irena Rice, Brooke Suggs, Mary Apriori and Alisha Rice for consistently joining our monthly meetings! I’d like to publicly thank Alisha Rice for supporting our meeting coordination efforts.
For those of you who are members, but have not joined us for a monthly meeting, know our chapter is more about inspiration and supporting our communities and less about business networking. In our last meeting we built our mission statement:
Connecting women to inspire and empower them to succeed in their professional and personal lives. Continuously supporting and improving the KC community through service to others.
Our goal for end of this year was 50 active members. Since it’s almost the end of the year, we are going to adjust this goal to 20 active members and reach our 50 active members by Q1 2012.

I won a FREE Happy Hour at 810 Sports, so we will be having our November event at Harrah's again.
We will be going over our website and social media properties. It's important we all know we have a presence on the web and if you are interested in helping promote our chapter these are our tools to make this happen.
The holidays are always busy, but it’s within these busy times we all need support and ideas in making the holidays more fun and less of a hassle. I’d like everyone to bring 1 holiday tip which has made the holidays easier. We will all vote on the best idea and this person will receive Starbucks gift card valued at $20 to keep them going during this holiday season.
Please bring can foods to the November meeting. We will be donating this to the Harvesters Community Food Network.

Location: Anne Haynes’ house in Overland Park close to Prairie Village. Directions are provided on event confirmation page.
Cocktails and appetizers will be provided. We are having a gift exchange, so bring a gift between $10-$20 dollars. Make sure to dress up, we will be taking a group photo for the website.
