NAPW Cares Fall Service Project
Food Drive to Benefit the
Food Bank of Central and Easter North Carolina
November 15, 2011
With the weather taking a cold turn and holidays fast approaching, things can become even more difficult for those less fortunate. The Daily Meal website recently listed the state of North Carolina as having two cities (Winston Salem and Raleigh) in the top Ten American Cities facing food hardship. In an effort to help support our local community’s need for food items, NAPW, will be collecting items for the food bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. Our collection will help keep the food bank stocked during this high demand time. Our goal is to raise 50-100 lbs of food which is one standard donation bin. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but wish to donate, please contact Anji Saunders for more information about how to contribute, anjsaunders@aol.com
