Hi Ladies:
What do you say to a fall trail adventure series... We could all use some fresh air and some time to walk, run, ride or just sit and enjoy nature... so I'm proposing a fall adventure starting the 3rd Saturday in September to all who wish to participate.
Below is the list of Trails
Featuring "Crystal Bridges"
This shaded, 1 1/2-mile multi-use trail ambles along the western edge of Crystal Bridges' 100 acre site and links to the North Bentonville trail. Crystal Bridges Trail will serve as the pedestrian entrance to the museum once it opens but for now, offers a preview of things to come.
Visitors may access Crystal Bridges Trail from Compton Gardens, a seven-acre natural woodland garden located at 312 N. Main street, just one-third mile north of the downtown Bentonville Square.
Trail highlights:
Group of Bears by Paul Manship
The Way of Color by James Turrell
The Crystal Bridges Observation Deck
A Place Where They Cried by Pt Musick and Jerry Carr
Other Trails include:
Crystal Bridges Trail - 1.5 miles
Bella Vista Lake Trail - 1.75 miles
Downtown Trail - 1.1 mile
Memorial Park Fitness Trail - 1 mile
NE J Street Trail - 1.1 miles
North Bentonville Trail - 2.2 miles
Wishing Springs Trail - 1.5 miles
Anyone interested in joining us for these events, please contact me with dates and trails of interest. Walks will begin the 3rd week in September and wrap up by the middle of October. We will select trails according to participation levels. Looking forward to it.
Thanks.
Ann
PS. Please also keep watch for our fall Apple Orchard Event...
