I'm Barbara Healy and I've been in the media industry for 23 years, in digital specifically during the last decade. Prior to media, I held leadership roles in retail management and entertainment operations. My areas of expertise include effective team development, consumer and advertiser marketing, work flow and operations and customer focus.
My title is SVP, Digital Operations at Tribune Publishing, however, prior to joining the corporate group, I held roles of increasing responsibility at Chicago Tribune Media Group. I received my Master's degree in Business Administration as well as a Master's in Communication and my undergrad was focused on Mass Media Communication. I've been PMP certified for seven years and am an active member of the digital industry participating in the IAB as a Mobile Council Board Member, among other professional groups.
My hobbies include travelling, reading and learning new skills, from how to build a website to how to change a tire. While I love spending time with my fiancé planning our wedding, I also enjoy engaging with charitable organizations and am especially passionate about raising awareness for a number of organizations near and dear to me, including but not limited to Aphasia Recovery Connection, Alzheimer's Association and United Way.
