Consuelo Almonte My skills and areas of expertise include serving Filipino American senior citizens by reaching out to the growing number of isolated elderly Filipino Americans, who are seeking help to fulfill their needs for recognition in their local community. My professional title is executive vice president at Pagasa Social Foundation, Inc., which specializes in providing activities for seniors to help fill the void through its programs and hopefully restore their pride, respect and zest of life, which will improve social skills and health benefits to our elderly kababayans and other interested elderly citizens in the neighborhood of Queens, NY. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in humanities and social welfare from University of the Philippines. I am currently involved with the University of the Philippines Alumni Association (vice president of the New York chapter). My hobbies and interests include writing, politics and volunteering.
