About Lorie

I am a graduate of Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida and received my Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens, Ohio. I completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio in 1998. I am Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and currently practice at Blanchard Valley Hospital Women & Children's Center.

I am currently a member of several societies including: Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons(SLS) Endometriosis Association, American Osteopathic Association, International Pelvic Pain Society, North American Menopausal Society(NAMS), and most recently the Society of European Robotic Gynecologic Surgeons

I have a clinical focus which includes all aspects of gynecology with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery. I have been involved in speaking, proctoring, and hosting as an observation/training site for Intuitive Surgical. Pelvic pain and prolapse in women has also been a particular focus as well as endometriosis in which I am currently involved in a national research project with robotics. . I am currently involved with ACOOG, AOA, ACOG and the American Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons. My hobbies and interests include travel, scrap booking, photography and gardening. I am drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as the Endometriosis Association and the Pelvic Pain Society.
