My name is Althea J. Albert-Santiago, B.S., the Director of Food and Nutrition for the St. Louis Public Schools. My skills and areas of expertise include education, food services, nutrition and sanitation. I have a bachelor's degree in Home Economics from Norfolk State University. In 1997, I attended and completed Hampton University’s Dietetic Internship program while working at the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank for thirteen years. During my time with the Food Bank, I developed an empowerment training program that focused on education, nutrition and self-sufficiency. I am currently studying Public Health at American Military University. My hobbies and interests include providing healthy meals for all ages, reading and shopping. I am drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as The National Breast Cancer Foundation, as well as various local charities within my community.
