Dr. Kimberly Pettaway Willis, B.A., M.S., Ph.D. is the CEO and Founder of Cor'Rae Management Agency LLC, which specializes in entertainment management and the CEO/Founder of Kolorz of Cancer Presented by Cor'Rae, specializing in cancer awareness. She received her Doctorate in Sports Management concentrating in Sports Law and Marketing from Florida State University. Dr. Willis' Bachelor's was obtained from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a degree in Exercise Sport Science.
Dr. Pettaway Willis is currently involved with promoting Cancer Awareness, donating to families/patients affected by ANY type of cancer, completed a Cancer Poetry Devotional with Lisa Whitaker with AuthorHouse Publishing, is involved with Pi Lambda Theta and has been chosen (again) to represent women in the academia field at the Oxford Round Table discussions in Oxford England.
Hobbies and interests include giving back to the community, modeling, traveling, reading, writing, working out, exercising and spending time with her twins, husband, family and friends. Dr. Willis is drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as Saving The Youth (Truth Tabernacle Ministries in Rocky Mount, NC), Susan G. Komen, Breast Cancer Awareness, the Salvation Army and Good Will, and Kolorz of Cancer awareness (donating to families in her hometown community).
A second and third Kolorz of Cancer Presented by Cor'Rae Cancer Awareness Event was held November 2 and 3, 2012 in Tarboro, NC. The organization's first awareness event was Cor'Rae Management Agency Cancer Awareness Thon on May 12, 2012 in Tarboro, NC (her hometown).
Dr. Willis and Lisa Pettaway Whitaker's cancer devotional was released and published November 5, 2013. The powerful poetry devotional is titled "Cancer…Teardrops Beneath the Kolorz of the Rainbow ~ A Devotional to Uplift the Heart, Mind, and Soul." The cancer devotional is dedicated to the strength and fight of Mrs. Laquanta Pittman Knight, the "sister" of Dr. Willis who recently passed away from breast cancer. Laquanta was 35 years old at the time of her death (November 24, 2013) but the family of Laquanta celebrated her life and 36th birthday five days after her death (November 29, 2013). Mrs. Lisa P Whitaker is the Aunt and Client of Dr. Willis.
Dr. Kimberly Pettaway Willis is the wife of Ray Willis, an 8 year Veteran recently retiring from the National Football League. They are proud parents of twins, Donovan and Mackenzie, and Godparents of Nykia J. Lloyd, Infinity Q. Pittman, and Layla M. Braswell.
