I am a full-time Hair stylist at a well respected Aveda salon, The Barber Lounge, located in the heart of the SoMa district, San Francisco, CA. I love working with my clients to develop a look that brings out their finest qualities and which is easily managed as part of their daily life routines. I do not specialize, but rather am trained and confident across cutting, color and am able to offer Platinum Seamless Extensions or Brazilian Blowouts to my clients when desired.

I free lance as a hair/makeup artist for editorial and artistic photo shoots, music videos and independent film. My preference is to work with highly creative teams on edgy or innovative projects

As a JHilburn Style Associate, I am also a trained style advisor providing in home or office fit / fashion consultation for custom 'measure to made' and ready made affordable luxury clothing for men.

If asked to describe myself, I will usually say that I am a "Renaissance Artist" as my creative skills cross over from personal stylist to painting, collage, jewelry design & restructured fashion.

Prior to my current more creative calling, I was a successful Business Process & Systems Analyst / Business Relationship Manager for over 15 years. I am highly experienced in managing business units, teams & projects and have played both strong individual contributor roles as well as management positions where I excelled at leveraging both creative and analytical approaches to solve challenging business process and systems issues. I thrive in "think tank" or brainstorming environments when resolving challenging tasks and working to improve processes. I have excellent written and oral communication skills combined with a refined ability to work across diverse functional teams and multiple organizational levels to facilitate practical, effective solutions to both strategic and tactical challenges.
