Traci is the Global Executive Coordinator – TMS (Team Member Services) Operations for Whole Foods Market. She began her career in Payroll in Houston, Texas in 1992 and in 1998 moved to Austin, Texas to join Whole Foods Market as a Payroll Tax Specialist. She has held several other positions within Payroll Services prior to her current position. She spent a brief time on the Information Technology Team as a Business Analyst on the Payroll functional side during the PeopleSoft HRMS implementation. She moved back to Payroll Services when the opportunity to become the Assistant Payroll Operations Team Leader became available in 2001. She was promoted to Payroll Operations Team Leader in 2003 and was promoted to Director of Payroll Services in June 2007. In 2005 she was awarded the Global Support All*Star Award and was a Global All*Star Honorable Mention the same year. She was promoted to her current role in February 2011. And has played a lead role during the integration process for several acquisitions Whole Foods Market has made; particularly the Wild Oats acquisition in 2007. In 2008 she received a Special Performer recognition for the leadership role she provided during the Wild Oats acquisition. She is also a Certified Payroll Professional.
In her current leadership role, her teams (Timekeeping, Payroll and Benefit Operations and Payroll Tax & Compliance) are responsible for the Payroll Services and Benefits processes for 65,000 Team Members in the United States (39 states), Canada (Ontario and British Columbia) and the United Kingdom. She works with multiple regions within Whole Foods Market to monitor and consult on various compliance items related to FLSA, garnishments, unemployment and income tax as well as overseeing the Electronic I9 and E-Verify programs for the company. She is also one of the Executive Sponsors of the Whole Foods Market Diversity & Inclusion Council.
