My name is Audrey Algere’. I am a woman with many accomplishments. I have served as an ELA Coach, English Language Arts teacher, Curriculum Specialist, and PBS (Positive Behavior Support) Coordinator, helping to better the overall experience for both students and teachers. I have the heart of a businesswoman, having worked as an office manager, a bookstore manager, and as an asst. purchasing director.

I have owned and operated Forever Blessed, a Christian bookstore. I was also a member of the U.S. Navy for a total of seven years. It was here that I gained many of the skills and knowledge that have aided in making me the strong and ambitious leader that I am today. I have attained three degrees, all while being a loving wife and mother to my two children. I have earned a Bachelors of Science in Workforce Education and Curriculum Development, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, and a Master of Science in Education Leadership and Administration. I have taken classes towards a Doctorate of Education.

I am also a published author. I have written two books: “Using Your Foundation for Elevation”, and recently, “Flawed System...Flawed Product. . . . the TRUTH about the educational system from a teacher's perspective.” I have been working to establish a ministry, Visionary Christian Ministry. I write a bi-monthly newsletter for this ministry called Visionary “Good News” Gazette. Further, I am currently working with two other distinguished women to develop a training business called MECCA (Movement for Educational Change Consulting Agency).

My awards include the Battle Efficiency Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Who's Who of Professional Management, and Who's Who Among America's Teachers. I am an ordained/licensed minister who is passionate about spreading the Good News of Christ's Salvation to any and everyone that I can.

I believe that my membership in the National Association of Professional Women will allow me to network with many distinguished women as I advance and expand in the opportunities that have been afforded to me. Lastly, I am hoping that my membership will encourage others to be creative and to reach for the many stars that are waiting to shine bright in that beautiful sky of opportunity.
