My name is Fabiana Salgado-Lowe My skills and areas of expertise include Broadcast Media. My professional title is Manager, PR and Media at Shriners International Headquarters, which operates the healthcare system Shriners Hospitals for Children. I received my BA in Communication from USMP in 2004. I am currently involved with Hispanic Professional Womens Assoc. My hobbies and interests include music and linguistics. I am drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as Shriners Hospital for Children and causes which help enhance and promote the Hispanic woman.
Prior to joining Shriners International Headquarters in 2008, I worked for a political organization as media coordinator and liaison; I also worked as a reporter/translator for a local newspaper (Tampa Tribune’s Hispanic publication.)
Born in Lima, Peru, I graduated with honors from The University of San Martin de Porres with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with concentration in Broadcast. Prior to graduating, I obtained a certification in languages from the University of Cambridge, England.
