My name is Becky A. McHughes, attorney at law. I received my Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2001 at the age of 43. At that time my children were 16 and 18. My professional title is Managing Partner at The McHughes Law Firm, LLC. My skills and areas of practice include primarily debt collection and contact law, but are not limited to those specific areas. I employ 24 people at the firm. I am the President of the Arkansas Creditors Bar Association and the Vice President of Federal Adjustment Bureau, Inc. an Arkansas collection agency. I am currently involved with the Pulaski Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, Uniform Law Committee, Women in Professional Law. I am a member of ACA International, The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, National Association of Retail Collection Attorney, National List, and the General Bar. My goal as a collection attorney is to preserve and protect the integrity of the legal collections industry. I reach for my goal everyday by staying focused, aligned, and accountable to my clients, thereby creating a trusting relationship which fosters integrity throughout the community, and including the consumers who are attempting to be accountable for their outstanding obligations. It is in my core values to treat everyone with dignity in and out of the work place. I work 10 to 12 hours per day so there is little time for much else. I enjoy traveling and talking with my children daily. I support the Arkansas Food Bank and attend Trinity Assembly of God.
