My name is Barbara S. Kalb and I am a true "Jack of all trades, Master of None". I worked as a Geriatric Licensed Practical Nurse in PA. before attending Johnson Bible College (now Johnson University) in Knoxville, TN. In 1970 my husband and I were recruited to serve as missionaries in the French Cameroons, West Africa. Early in 1971 we moved to Accra, Ghana, W/Africa, where we lived, worked and raised 3 sons over a 30 year period of time. My skills and areas of expertise vary widely, but include fundraising, public speaking and communications in general. My professional title is Co-Administrator and Fundraiser for Training Tomorrow's Leaders, which specializes in educating and training the illiterate people of North Ghana with the Gospel. This is a new and very exciting work which I am thrilled to be a part of. Nothing can replace the sheer joy illiterate people receive when they hear the Gospel in their own language for the very first time! We currently partner, and minimally support, 15 Ghanaian evangelists in this work. I was employed by the US Embassy in Accra, Ghana, for 3 years as their Democracy and Human Rights Coordinator. My office received approximately $80,000/year from the US Congress to fund projects nationwide that would bring about better democracy, human rights and free and fair elections. I served as the volunteer Project Chair of the North American Women's Association in Ghana for 12 years. "NAWA" raises thousands of dollars every year for projects to better the lives of Ghanaian women and children. My latest area of service in Ghana lasted 3 years when I taught music to grades pre-K through 12 in a small, American Christian school in Accra, called American Int'l. School. I also taught Middle School Bible here for 2 years. My hobbies and interests include reading, traveling, music and swimming. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 5 grandchildren
