My name is Vanessa Vidal and I am the National Director for GMDO - offering the Transcendental Meditation (TM) program to women in order to bring its wide range of benefits for their health, happiness and fulfilment in life.
The heart of our organization's mission and vision is the development of the full potential of a woman's life, self, family and career.
The TM program is a natural and effortless technique practiced for twenty minutes twice daily while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed. During the meditation practice, the mind settles down to quieter levels of thought and rests in the silent reservoir of intelligence, energy and creativity. The body correspondingly settles down to a state of deep rest. This experience of inner wakefulness and deep rest is the basis of great dynamism and achsievement in life.
The TM practice is unique among meditation techniques distinguished by its simplicity and profound, immediate results. It is not a religion or philosophy and involves no change in lifestyle. It is easy to learn and enjoyable to practice, requiring no effort, concentration or special skills.
The Transcendental Meditation program is by far the most extensively researched program for self-development. Scientists at over 210 independent research institutions including Harvard, Yale and UCLA Medical School have conducted research on the TM program finding practical benefits that are significant to all fields of life: improved mental capacity, health, career success, relationships and inner peace. The key to perfect health is maintaining balance in the physiology. The Global Mother Divine Organization offers a system of healthcare, Maharishi Ayurveda®, that creates balance and prevents disease through enlivening the body's connection with its own inner intelligence.
2. Education - Our greatest resource is the youth of our world; it is our responsibility to give them the best education possible. Providing an educational system that allows girls and women to access and enliven their unbounded inner intelligence is a priority for the Global Mother Divine Organization. Extensive scientific research has shown Consciousness Based Education™ to be universally effective in developing the intellectual abilities, academic performance, social behavior, and inner happiness of students.
3. Culture - The Global Mother Divine Organization honors and cherishes the cultural traditions and mother tongues of every nation. The strength and beauty of a tree depends on the nourishment that it draws from its roots. In the same way the peace, prosperity, and
invincibility of every nation depend on the full awakening of its ancient cultural
