About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Cheever brings a specialized combination of business expertise – along with years of experience and success in consulting and training – to all her client engagements. Working with small and large businesses across many industries, she shares her commitment to providing superior, customized services to meet individual and organizational needs.

From the outset, Elizabeth wanted to go beyond the ‘cookie-cutter’ approach of many other executive coaching firms. She designs programs to meet the specific, unique goals of each client.

She enables her clients to “play at the top of their game” through executive coaching, consulting and skills training. Elizabeth helps business people think creatively, communicate in powerful, compelling ways and interact effectively with all their contacts – both inside and outside their organizations.

Elizabeth has been delivering executive coaching, communications consulting and skills training to a diverse range of organizations and executives since 1986. Along with her professional background in psychology, her coaching helps get to the root of the challenges that many executives face. She consults with clients of all sizes – Fortune 500 corporations, small-to-midsize businesses, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and individuals not affiliated with an organization.

In addition to leading Cheever Communications, Ms. Cheever has written extensively on executive coaching and presentation skills. Her articles have appeared in the Public Relations Journal and Boston Business Journal, and she contributed to the book Targeting the Message: A Receiver-Centered Process for Public Relations Writing. Ms. Cheever earned her Master’s degree from Boston University and her Bachelor’s degree from Boston College.

Prior to founding Cheever Communications, she held leadership positions in Academia and Medicine and was a senior consultant at Mitterling Management and Training, an international communications consulting firm serving Fortune 500 companies in many different industries.

Based in Marblehead, MA, Cheever Communications serves clients across many different sectors including financial services, healthcare, high tech, biotech, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, education and professional services. Among these are John Hancock, Staples, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Harvard University and Millennium.
