My name is Linda Akbari I am 51 years old, and I am married to the love of my life. I have been living in Richmond, Virginia for 11 years. I grew up in Southern California, and lived there for 39 years, I loved the California sunshine, the laid back lifestyle, and the most of all, the beaches. While living in Southern California I was exposed to the beautiful people and was very interested in how the movie stars took care of their skin, and wanted to learn how to apply the right makeup for their individual faces to look so beautiful. I spent some time in Los Angeles and was inspired to learn more about skin, body and the beauty business.

In 2009 I was laid off due to a company Bankruptcy, after working there for 10 years. Losing my job and career, I knew I loved skin care, and as far back as I can remember I wanted to be a "Master Esthetician" so I searched for schools in the Richmond, Virginia area there were some good ones, but they were over priced for what they offered. The the third school I checked into I found "Derma Elite Academy" it was by far the best school in the area, and met all of my high standards. I enrolled in September of 2009 learned alot about skincare, and how to take care of my own skin and my clients skin. The most important thing about skin care is being able to analyze my clients skin type. After analyzing their skin I knew what products would deliver optimal results, for anti-aging, acne, dry skin, combination skin, their are products that can heal your skin.
