On April 16, 2011, in San Bernardino, California, I lost my brother, Clyde Ray Willis, Jr. and his best friend, Dahmetri Ross, both 26. They were victims of domestic violence. My brother and his best friend were murdered because no one spoke out against domestic violence. Their voices were abruptly silenced, and they did not get a chance to S.P.E.A.K., so therefore, I will S.P.E.A.K. for them against any form of violence! Out of my brother and his best friend’s death, S.P.E.A.K. (Speaking Publicly Eliminates Another Killing), was born.
