Bachelor of Arts, Transylvania University Philosophy and Religion
My name is Heather Wibbels, LMT. I have a private practice in massage therapy in Louisville, KY you can find online at http://www.massagebyheather.com. I was initially trained at Cumberland Institute of Health and Wellness in Brentwood, TN and had a very successful practice in Nashville, TN before moving north to Louisville.
I have Bachelor's degree from Transylvania University and a Master's degree from Vanderbilt University and spent a good bit of time in the software industry before moving to massage therapy as a career. I work with clients who are weekend warriors, couch potatoes, athletes and desk jockeys. I help clients relieve pain, chronic and acute, and work with them to give them self-massage and stretching tools to deal with chronic or recurring issues that arise.
I believe in massage, not just because I've seen it work on my clients, but because I see it work on me. I've used it to relieve headaches, to get rid of neck pain, to increase my flexibility and range of motion. Massage enables me to massage my clients because it keeps muscles, tendons and ligaments flexible yet strong.
