About Carol

She is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, registered with the National Board Certification of Occupational therapy and a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.





Shewas appointed to serve in a new position of Board Development Chair for the Occupational Therapy Association of Oregon for June, 2008- June, 2010 to assist in creating new efficient foundations for the OTAO Board and strengthen the relationship with Pacific University's Occupational Therapy program and a newly developing Occupational Therapy Assistant program in Oregon.





She received my Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and graduated with Honors. She additionally has minors in Anatomy and Human Development.





The charity that Ishe is most passionate and drawn to is Pacific Dragon Boat Association, USA. She was elected to be the founding President of the PDBA, USA (now one of 3 regional affiliates) developing bylaws & obtaining 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt nonprofit status in 1999. She built new and effective relationships among interstate western organizers and teams to serve the sport in the future. She served as President for the organization's first 2 years, overseeing the development and documentation of operating procedures, logo, communications via email, conferences, etc. and created a continental relationship with the Dragon Boat Racing Council of Canada.





She was next sought out to step into a immediate vacancy of the American Dragon Boat Association President position based upon the successful formation of the PDBA, USA in order to expediently organize the past sets of bylaws, develop effective communications, committees, etc. to establish 3 regional working affiliates of the Unted States and obtain acceptance and entitle the organization to the United States Dragon Boat Federation (USDBF) to more effectively represent the USA as a member of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF). This enabled the USDBF to host its first World Dragon Boat Racing Championship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and enabled the United States to compete in Club Crew and International Competiions for future years to come.. She co-developed marketing, mediation services and served a liaison between the elected race organizing committee and the USDBF to hold competitions, while additionally paddling on an all-star Portland, OR Women's Division Dragon Boat Team 1999-2002 which later qualified to be part of Team USA for World Competition achieving a silver medal in the women's team division.
