My name is Charu Raheja, PHD and I am the Founder and Chair for Triage Logic. My company's principal products and services include healthcare triage softwear and service. My expertise is finance. I have spent much of my career in the academic arena, researching and teaching at the graduate and post-graduate levels corporate finance, financial management, and corporate and asset evaluation. Since 2007, I have taught MBA courses at the Wake Forest University Schools of Business. In 2009 I was honored with the Charlotte Saturday class Excellence in Teaching Award. At Vanderbilt University, I received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in the MBA program. I also have conducted significant research in the area of corporate finance and corporate governance, publishing numerous papers in reputable journals. My paper, “Determinants of Board Size and Composition: A Theory of Corporate Boards,” was recognized as the Best Paper by the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
Six years ago I started TriageLogic Management with my husband, a pediatrician. Together we set out to raise the bar for telephone medicine by filling a need for after-hours triage for doctors’ offices. We founded TriageLogic on the principle that patients should have access to health care 24/7. Our ultimate purpose is to provide software and services that will allow for high quality affordable services and give access to health care to every individual in the communities that we serve. We are extremely proud of the products we offer and feel that our services are making a real contribution to the healthcare industry. I have Ph.D. in Finance from New York University, a master’s degree in philosophy from NYU, and was ranked #1 in my graduating business administration class at the University of Florida.
