Janaris Lambright-Trefny is an accomplished IT executive with 20+ years experience in financial services, half of which was spent working with Wall Street firms. She specializes in program/project management, and has a reputation for successfully managing global complex mission critical programs. As owner of her management-consulting firm, Janaris provides management consulting and advisory services. Her contract work has included the overall direction of a Program Management Office (PMO), providing services to the organization's portfolio of projects such as guidelines, planning, and scheduling, estimating, budgeting and risk assessments.
Janaris has a love for volunteering and is passionate about an organization she co-founded. Janaris' involvement with 'Women Celebrate Life' came after the passing of her beloved friend, Audrey Harrison. Seeing Audrey’s vision come to fruition is among one of the drivers of Janaris’ enthusiasm to participate in her non-profit organization as well as giving back to her community, bonding with women who are passionate about enriching their lives and helping others along the way.
Janaris is a graduate of St. John’s University, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and currently enrolled in MIT Sloan School of Management; Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation & Technology.
