E. Parker Herring practices family law and adoption law at her downtown Raleigh law firm, Herring Mills & Kratt PLLC. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate and then attended Wake Forest University School of Law. She also co-directs a North Carolina based adoption agency – www.achildshope.com. The agency has placed over 250 children since it started in 1999. Parker is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. She is a native of Raleigh and has three children.



Part of her practice focuses on collaborative law – a process which attempts to help divorcing parties work together to have an amicable creation of two separate households. She is a member of NC Bar Association, the NCCCLP, the Wake County Women’s Law Association and the NC Advocates for Justices. She is a Board member of Hopeful Parents, the nonprofit auxiliary for the adoption agency she chairs.
