Deborah Jackson is an Advanced Practice Nurse in Oncology and Genomics and received her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Texas at Austin and Clinical Nurse Specialist graduate degrees from the University of California in San Francisco. She is currently certified as an Advanced Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist by the Oncology Nursing Society and serves as the President of Symbeo Healthcare Communications. This company specializes in providing regulatory services, publication planning, marketing materials, and training programs for pharmaceutical firms.

In previous roles, Deborah worked at Genentech BioOncology located in South San Francisco, CA as a clinical trainer for oncology sales representatives. She has also worked for GlaxoSmithKline and multiple oncology institutions. In these roles, she developed a passion for the oncology patient and clinical research in the oncology and genomic arenas. She uses this passion to develop the most complete and up to date materials for her clients using the latest technology and creative talent. However, her most important accomplishment to date has been her marriage to the love of her life for the past 20 years and the raising of 2 beautiful and talented boys.
