Christine Simmons is Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE). She is responsible for identifying new areas of partnership and business opportunities for all MJE lines of business as a value added diverse supplier to the Fortune 500.
Christine also collaborates in the development of strategies for co-branded activation of strategic alliances and new lines of business through our private equity fund.
Simmons is also the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Magic Workforce Solutions (MWS) for staffing opportunities and relationship management for existing clients.
Ms. Simmons has nearly 10 years of supplier diversity industry experience. Prior to joining the MJE team, Christine was a Manager of Supplier Diversity and Sustainability for The Walt Disney Company where she managed over $135M in diverse spend. She also served as the Director of Marketing & Programs for the Southern California Minority Business Development Council (SCMBDC). Ms. Simmons managed projects for United Technologies Corporation for the Global and Latin America Supplier Diversity Managers.
Ms. Simmons holds a seat on the board of the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce and the UCLA Alumni Association. She is a member of the National Association of Female Executives, National Association of Professional Women, and is a Board Member of Endeavor College Prep Charter School. Christine was recently appointed to the Board of SodexoMAGIC, a Foodservice and Facilities Management company.
In 2008, Simmons was named one of the Top 25 Women of Power Impacting Diversity by DiversityPlus magazine and named to the Who’s Who in Black Los Angeles.
Simmons received her Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA.
