Nancy Delgadillo is a business leader, entrepreneur, philanthropist and proud mother of two sons, who strives for excellence, innovation and collaboration in all of her pursuits.
As a child, Nancy was a multi-tasker with a passion for fashion and sports that still endures. When she was just 8 years old growing up in Tijuana, Mexico, Nancy told her mother she wanted to become a war veteran. That dream became a reality in 2003 when the newly enlisted Army soldier was deployed to Iraq following the 911 attacks. After four years Nancy became honorably discharged in 2006.
At the heart of Nancy's community spirit is her passion for homelessness: "I believe together we can overcome this struggle," she says. "We all deserve a second chance at life and success." Nancy attended the University of Maryland Europe in Germany.
Today Nancy is a conscience-laden business leader who enthusiastically embraces the worlds of education and philanthropy. As Executive Director of My Brother’s Keepers Reaching Out, Inc. she is an affiliate of various homeless shelters in Atlanta where she implements her very own mentor program, the only program targeted to helping men, women and children transition out of homelessness.
As an active philanthropist, Nancy serves as Chair of the Board for the Dekalb Council on Literacy, whose mission is to increase awareness of the importance of a literate community; to bring together community resources to support literacy services, and to promote and support literacy training for all residents of DeKalb County.
An avid reader and a food and wine aficionado, Nancy resides in Atlanta, GA.
