My name is Pamela Sams. I am a Financial Advisor with Jackson Sams Financial Services in Northern Virginia. For 10 years, I have been helping women and their families improve their personal and financial wealth through good financial planning. My education and training enable me to help clients successfully navigate through the myriad of personal and financial decisions they face during their lives. I assist them in attaining a higher level of financial security through education, understanding and scenario planning. With this knowledge, I develop a customized approach for each client’s planning needs.

I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia for my undergraduate degree and received my Masters of Business Administration degree in Financial Management from Averett University. Throughout my financial services career, I have acquired several client service and financial planning awards. I also successfully completed the demanding requirements to become a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor through the College of Financial Planning.

As an advocate for financial literacy, I conduct financial education workshops with employees of corporations and small businesses, schools and churches throughout my community. I am currently the personal finance columnist for Fairfax Woman Magazine, a bimonthly woman’s journal in Northern Virginia.

I have learned that being a successful woman is definitely something to be proud of. I joined the National Association of Professional Women because I feel it will be beneficial for me to network with other business owners and professional women in general who could benefit from the services that I provide.

I am married and live in Centreville, VA raising our three children. I devote my free time to my family, my church, charity and enjoy reading and love to sing.
