Additionally, in an effort to assist physicians with “managing” the many business issues related to today’s healthcare industry, Leslie developed a partnership with the Catholic Health Services System to offer an MBA program specifically for its physicians.
Prior to joining Adelphi University, she was the Interim Executive Director of The Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women where she managed and advanced the organization through community outreach.
Leslie received a Bachelor of Arts Degree Cum Laude from Molloy College and completed Human Resource Management and Leadership Management seminars at C.W. Post campus of Long Island University. Leslie’s favorite quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson: “What the tender and poetic youth dreams today, is tomorrow’s public opinion, and the day after is the character of nations.” Her personal and professional fulfillment has always been about making a difference in a person’s life. Emerson’s message of education and leadership has been the inspiration to her career.
