Members and guests of the NAPW Rancho Cucamonga, CA Local Chapter gathered on October 10th for a professional networking meeting at Cucamonga Brewing Company. The group of professional women shared their success stories and experiences and learned from one another during the meeting’s ‘Mini Masterminds’ session. In July, members and guests heard Professional Coach Tiana Sanchez speak about leadership in her presentation ‘Leadership Landscape-7 Pillars of Leadership.’
NAPW Ranco Cucamonga, CA Chapter President Kristine Dutra got the October meeting started by thanking everyone for attending the Chapter’s networking event. Members and guests signed in and their business cards were collected for a raffle. She reminded all that Chapter meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. In the interest of continued growth in Chapter membership and meeting attendance, Kristine encouraged the group to reach out to other professional women and current members and invite them to participate in monthly meetings.
She then spoke about the meeting’s focus for the evening.
“We are going to hold a Mini Masterminds session, where members and guests will share their professional ups and downs, said Kristine. “This will be a wonderful way for us to network and learn from one another how to make our businesses as successful as possible,”
One by one, each professional woman introduced herself and talked about her experiences, including her achievements and any obstacles to success she may have had to overcome.

She shared that regarding digital marketing, You Tube is number one right now. Most companies and individuals use You Tube for advertising and marketing.
During the evening, Kris gave a demonstration of her unique cupcake boxes. She gave each attendee a box and new member Patricia Mathis-Jolliff provided cupcakes to put in the custom cupcake boxes for each attendee to enjoy.
In addition to the informative tips about making their businesses a success that attendees picked up from the ‘Mini Masterminds’ session at the Rancho Cucamonga, CA Local Chapter meeting in October, members and guests at the networking event held in July received more helpful information from guest speaker and Rancho Cucamonga, CA Local Chapter member Tiana Sanchez.
In her presentation, The Leadership Landscape: 7 Pillars of Leadership, Tiana spoke on the topic of effective leadership. She began by speaking about how she came into her first leadership position in the world of retail at the early age of 17. She also talked about how environment can affect leadership and how leadership means being open to learning and being adaptable.
“Tiana did an awesome job engaging all the members and guests, drawing them out, and encouraging them to become leaders in whatever they do,” said Kristine. “Everyone was able to take away some great points regarding effective leadership.”
