National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) Launches Non-Member Website

Garden City, NY (March 2, 2010) – Today, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), one of the most recognized and respected
women’s associations in the country, with over 150,000 members, officially launched www.nationalassociationofprofessionalwomen.com, dedicated to introducing non-member professional women to the many services, benefits and rewards associated with NAPW membership.

“As professional women are becoming more aware of NAPW through widespread news coverage associated with our association’s many initiatives, achievements and philanthropy, non-members are increasingly expressing interest in learning more about our association, and they want to obtain details about how specific programs will benefit them,” says Nicole Johnson, Managing Director of Communications and Member Services.

The new, non-member website is designed to provide easy access to a comprehensive overview of some of NAPW’s most compelling and exciting offerings, and no log-on is required. In addition to a general description of the organization’s background and goals, the non-member website is packed with over nine pages of information that brings to life what it means to be a participating member of NAPW’s exclusive and advanced professional women’s forum.

Johnson notes, “While the new domain is quite comprehensive and does include many important details about NAPW’s core offerings, it is not meant to be all inclusive, by any means. For instance, NAPW is constantly launching new and exciting contests to help members gain personal and professional exposure, while offering them an opportunity to win prizes. Additionally, the member-only site provides timely and important information about NAPW’s many philanthropic initiatives such as our involvement in the newly launched NAPW/Urban League of Essex County Open Doorways Mentorship Program, and our fundraising drive to assist the Red Cross in raising money for their Haiti Relief and Development Program. Members are also urged to be on the lookout for many upcoming new features to our members-only website, which have been designed to increase interactivity tenfold.”
