GARDEN CITY (January 12, 2012)—National Association of Professional Women has announced acclaimed attorney STAR JONES as spokesperson for the 300,000 membership of NAPW.

Star Jones hits the road for NAPW

As National Association of Professional Women’s national spokesperson, Ms. Jones has traveled across the United States meeting with NAPW Local Chapter Presidents and members. While sharing her motivational life story and offering her inspirational business experience, Ms. Jones has also engaged NAPW members in lively discussions addressing the workplace and personal issues that are most important to professional women.


Star Jones to host NAPW 2012 Networking Conference


Building upon the outstanding success of NAPW’s 2011 event at the Waldorf=Astoria with keynote speaker Ivanka Trump, Ms. Jones will take over hosting duties at this high-profile event. An illustrious cross-section of NAPW membership will join Ms. Jones in a comprehensive agenda of motivational speakers and full-day sessions with business and lifestyle experts. The second annual NAPW  “Speed Networking” session will again be a centerpiece of the conference.


About Star Jones

Star Jones is a former Senior Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn. Appointed to the Homicide Division before she was 29 years old, her felony conviction rate (31 of 33) remains the best in the county. Ms. Jones was recruited by Court TV in 1991 as a commentator, beginning her highly successful on-camera role as a leading legal and social issues pundit. As chief legal analyst on Inside Edition, she was assigned to lead the coverage of the O. J. Simpson murder case and was the only reporter to interview Simpson during his civil trial, which she covered for American Journal. She is perhaps best known for her nine years as co-host of the daytime TV talk show The View, and for her current guest appearances as a legal correspondent for NBC Nightly News and as a commentator on popular culture for the Today Show.

Ms. Jones has become well known to a wider audience through her highly-rated appearance on NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice; representing The American Heart Association on the show as a result of her life-altering experience of open-heart surgery in 2010, Ms. Jones was hand-picked by Donald Trump for his tenth season in recognition of her outstanding humanitarian work on behalf of raising the awareness of heart health for all Americans. Renowned as a woman of faith, heart, and fearless independence, Ms. Jones has authored three books and is an in-demand motivational speaker on achieving long-term career success in balance with physical and emotional well-being.
