Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 13, 2010 -- The first meeting of the San Antonio Chapter of the National Association of Professional Women was held on November 11 at Luce Ristorante with over 27 attendees.

Nominations for the executive board should be emailed to Dr. Hardy. There are five committees so far: Membership, Education & Enrichment, Travel & Entertainment, Marketing & PR, and Fundraising. Members signed up during the meeting and can also sign up via email.

Other topics discussed include suggestions on meeting places and charities the chapter would like to be involved with.
The atmosphere was very warm and friendly and everyone expressed their excitement to be part of the National Association of Professional Women and their availability to offer assistance to others in any way.
Attendees represented various professional fields from financial advisors, fashion consultants, artists, consultants, CPA's and even a professional belly dancer!
The next chapter meeting will be December 10, 2009 at a location to be determined.
