"Our Jacksonville Chapter seeks to enhance, develop and strengthen professional women by providing them a forum for integration of thoughts, experiences and new ideas. With the intellectual capital, contacts and resources we have within our group, we will mentor each other, celebrate successes, and aid other women in pursuit of their dreams and goals."
NAPW mission was read verbatim "is to provide the most exclusive and advanced forum for members to find like-minded women to create innovative social, professional, and business relationships. We provide our members knowledge and information about varied industries and professions and generate the opportunity for our constituency to interact, exchange ideas, educate, network, and empower."
It was announced that the next meeting will be held on December 9 2009 at 4:30 pm at The Spa, at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. A fee of $20.00 is payable to The Spa at the door to cover food & beverage. Motivational speaker, Snowden McFall will be our guest and her topic is "Reignite Your Fire and Prevent Holiday Burnout".
Children's books new or lightly used were requested to members to donate them to Hope Haven Children's Clinic and Family Center (http://www.hope-haven.org/) this Holiday Season. The books can be drop at the December 9 meeting or at KEMM Group LLC office before December 15, 2009.
A new mobile library was created to benefit members and promote attendance by the Jacksonville http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/NAPW.516-877-5500 [NAPW] Chapter Vice-President Pam Weister, President of Winvestor Homes, Inc.

The guest speaker was presented and he delivered a 50 minute presentation on "How to Select and Manage a Contractor coming to Your House"
The guest speaker was Alex Sifakis, President of Progress Home Buyers, LLC, who began his real estate investing career at the ripe-old age of 22. Even though he had no previous real estate experience and little money to start, just four years later, Alex has purchased over 120 properties and has built one of Jacksonville's biggest home buying companies. Alex has quickly established himself as a respected expert in the fields of managing and motivating contractors to get rehab projects done on time and on budget. He has been invited to speak nationally with his mentor, Than Merrill from A&E's "Flip This House," and has given numerous seminars on managing contractors for JaxREIA, Jacksonville's most respected real estate investment association. He and his team also received the "2008 Inspiration Award" from JaxREIA, and have been featured in publications such as The Florida Times-Union and Investor Insights. He currently is managing over 8 rehab projects.
