Randa Handler Hello everyone! Would love to connect! I'm a PR and Marketing consulting. I wrote and illustrated 5 children's books with diverse characters to try and instill a love of diversity. The ‘Thanksgiving Dinner Platter’, which explains, when and why, Thanksgiving became a national holiday, Cubbie Blue & His Dog Dot’, (Book -1), ‘What’s up with Mike?’ (Cubbie Blue- book 2); ‘If I Were King,’ A MOM’S CHOICE AWARD winner animal tale about a feisty zebra who doesn’t want to hang with other zebras. And finally, ‘The Boy Who Spoke To God’, where a young boy, in a non-religious folk tale, helps feuding tribes find peace during their diverse celebrations of the holidays! An introduction to elementary school children to all the different beliefs out there. I'd appreciate any help in spreading word about them. I'm presently evaluating and considering new career opportunities in St. Louis, MO or in NYC. There is a lot of info about the books online. Here's the Amazon link:

Dorothea Rogers, MA, LNHA Oh, and Hello everyone!
  • Oct 17, 2015
Dorothea Rogers, MA, LNHA I was accepted as a new member this week and I am excited to learn about NAPW and all the great things the members are doing. I am a licensed nursing home administrator with over 20 years of experience in health care. I was previously the administrator f a 223-bed skilled nursing and memory care facility. I am also a doctoral candidate and in my final stages of completing my dissertation. Unfortunately I had to resign my position just recently in order to complete my chapters. I am looking for other opportunities in healthcare and/or management where my knowledge and skills can be utilized in a less stressful environment. Until then, I will continue writing with the expectation of graduating in March 2016. I look forward to learning more about and getting to know everyone!
