Jennifer Castillo My name is Jennifer Castillo. By day I am a software analyst for Comcast and by night I am a Master’s student for Software Engineering Management, as well as a certified Mary Kay consultant. I earned my black belt in Six Sigma through Villanova University. This certification can be likened to a step up from Project Management Coordinator. It certainly helped me to secure my current position as a Software Analyst at Comcast. We are consultants who analyze and solve short term problems for companies which are designed to be carried on long term by the businesses we help.We have developed long-term solutions for a wide variety of companies, e.g. Motorola, GE and American Airlines. If you need a review of your company to assess how to make more money (which we all like to do), be more productive, or just to make sure that you have capital and are doing the right thing—reach out to me at SixSigmaconsult@outlook.com

LaTrenda Ross Greetings NAPW Members, I am truly excited and hopeful that you all will join us at the next meeting which is in two weeks (flyer attached). You are Missing Out On All of Lot of Fun and Excited Happenings. I am pleased and super excited to know that Toastmasters is pumped up and eager to come back and do a demo presentation with us again. Wooh Whoo! The highlight of toastmasters is to have a room filled up with 20-25 members and guests. This is the kicker and excited part. Wait For It! Wait For It! Your vote is needed and it matters because this will determine the day and time that would be most fitting for everyone. Ladies, just take two minutes and cast your vote. The link to the poll is Toastmasters Overview - http://www.toastmasters.org Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Their membership is more than 332,000 memberships. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 15,400 clubs in 135 countries that make up our global network of meeting locations. The world needs leaders. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program. Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback—and accept it. Through our community of learners, they find their path to leadership. Leadership Team Needed For Hudson County If you are looking to get engaged with our chapter leadership please makes every effort to grace us with your presence at our monthly meetings. The Local Chapter Leadership Teams provides meaningful, important connections and experiences for everyone involved. Professional leadership skills are improved, enhanced and put to the test. Being part of a leadership team provides the ability to step up, assess, take appropriate action and encourage the overall personal and professional growth of members, which can be a life-enhancing experience. Everything learned, and achieved in this role offers the necessary skill-enhancement that can be used in any business or career. Since everyone’s individual skills are important and impact a Local Chapters success as a whole, diverse expertise and experience helps Local Chapter Presidents with specific tasks that might be out of their particular realm of knowledge or experience. Each one could be the catalyst that propels your Chapter to the next level of success. Q: What is the commitment within a leadership role? A: You must be able to serve to help achieve the vision of success for all NAPW members, while empowering everyone to be the best they can be. You are the strength and source of that vision as you guide your team to success. You must remain firm in your belief that we can achieve this goal, while showing an unwavering spirit of resolve to those on your team. If you believe it can be achieved, so will your team! You are the source of their inspiration, dedication and work towards this goal. You must guide everyone to success! A Diverse Leadership Team Is An Important Part of a Chapters Success: • Presence is important; Leadership Team members are required to attend chapter events on a regular basis • Leadership Team members are trusted to follow through with their assigned tasks within the timeline agreed upon by you and the President • Leadership Team members are expected to take the lead on their responsibilities that have been agreed upon by both the team leader and the chapter president • If at any time a Leadership Team member is not able to follow through on responsibilities, she is required to communicate with the President to discuss the best way to handle the situation Positions • Vice President • Chapter Secretary • Committee Chair NAPW Foundation • Committee Chair Marketing &PR • Chief Social Media Coordinator • Committee Chair Chapter Events • Welcome Ambassador • Editor and Proofreader Please join your local chapter meetings because we need your direction to build an inspiring vision, and create something new as well as mapping out where our chapter needs to go to "We want to win" as a team! You are dynamic, exciting, and inspiring.
