I am very excited to be the President of the St. Louis Chapter of NAPW. I believe that it is an honor to be a part of NAPW and want to ensure that the St. Louis members are able to get the most out of their memberships. Each one of you can bring an invaluable set of ideals, principles, and passions that will make up the essence of this Chapter. I welcome any comments, suggestions, and questions in order to continually improve the St. Louis Chapter. It would be my hope that I would be able to bring together many local NAPW members once a month, and possibly more, to discuss many topics including, but not limited to Women in Business, empowerment, professionalism, networking, resources, economy, technology and trends, philanthropy, companies in the spotlight, social media, marketplace, entrepreneurship, industry, what other chapters are discussing, branding, business trends, women of influence, family values, and the list goes on. I am pleased NAPW has given me the honor of being our Chapter President.

Upcoming NAPW STL Monthly Meetings:
We meet the third Tuesday of every month. For 2011, we are featuring our speaker series which includes 30 to 40 minutes of networking followed by 45 to 60 minutes of guest speakers from various topics to encourage, inspire, and educate women on how to not only grow professionally, but also personally.

I am not a new member to NAPW and did not network as I should. Recently I spoke to another NAPW member from the Chicago chapter and she encouraged me.
Please accept my apology for not attending St Louis meetings. I may be able to attend the meeting in April, 2011. I will be out of town later that day and would like to attend the chapter meeting prior to leaving.
