Also at EACH MEETING, we are collecting items for Captain Hope's Kids. They give the items that we collect to homeless families with children. They need large size diapers, teenage hygiene supplies and lets bring some school supplies also. We also have a change jar at each meeting to put your loose change in that will also go to Captain Hope's Kids.
Our July 24th meeting speaker was Nancy L. Corsaro. It was a great experience. Here is a little bit about her:
"All About Acupuncture" with Nancy Corsaro, L.Ac.
Did you know that acupuncture can relieve stress, help with weight loss and reduce allergies? Most people associate acupuncture with pain relief, but it can treat just about every heatlh issue. Learn how this time-tested medical technique can help with anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestive problems such as IBS, and many others, gently and without side effects.
Nancy will present for about 20 minutes then answer your questions. She will ask for a volunteer so you can see acupuncture in action, as well!.
Nancy L Corsaro, L.Ac. is a Texas-licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese herbologist. She is a nationally board-certified Diplomate of acupuncture and Chinese herbology (NCCAOM) and practices as East-West Acupuncture in Carrollton, TX. Nancy is also a health and wellness coach, and often combines Western nutrition with Eastern healing traditions.
Our speaker for our August 28th meeting was Toni Celum.
Toni Celum is a hardworking project manager in a commercial real estate firm in north Dallas. She has been with her firm for almost 7 years and supports one of the partners as well as 4 other brokers and a transaction manager. Her position requires extensive graphics knowledge and the ability to juggle multiple projects. Toni is active in her church where she teaches 2-5 year old children every Sunday. She is also active in the Norwegian Society of Texas where she is the statewide website coordinator and Nyheter editor as well as the Dallas Viking chapter recording secretary. She has been happily married for over 30 years, has a grown son and daughter who've each given her a grandson. She will be co-presenting about Young Living Essential Oils with her friend/masseuse/upline sponsor, Robin Ray.
Women of Achievement Luncheon is September 30th. This is for the VIP Members. Please purchase your tickets by September 5th. You can go to Dallas Chapter board for more information.
Our September meeting will be Tuesday September 23, 2014 at 7 pm. Our speaker will be Trish Mathews.
Trish Mathews is a certified Hand Analyst. Hand Analysis is a scientific tool and learnable system that has nothing to do with being psychic. It differs from palmistry in that it is notpredictive. She is a former Fortune 100 executive and has her Bachelors in Biology and Masters in Human Relations & Business.
Simply by looking at your fingerprints and birthday, Trish Mathews 'sees' your specific Life Purpose so that you can create a more meaningful and authentic lifestyle. What makes her approach unique is the combination of hard science and ancient wisdom: understanding ourselves through Hand Analysis and Numerology.
