Hope to see you at the next meeting of Reno Chapter. Our last meeting in February was a great success with five members meeting. I canceled the March meeting due to a death in the family. At the February meeting we exchanged business information and enjoyed talking about the future of the Reno Chapter and getting to know each other. I have held 20 meetings to date, and met some 20 different women. If any of you have suggestions on how to improve our meetings... Read More
Thanks for joining! You invited to attend our monthly meetings which are held on the last Tuesday of the month. Attending our meetings gives you an opportunity to meet other members in person and develop lasting friendships.
We meet at 5:30 pm at the Macaroni Grill, S. Virginia Street in Reno. It is a great girls night out and the Grill serves great food and you can enjoy a glass of wine. Please RSVP via email on the wall or at NAPWReno@gmail.com if you can attend. Notices are sent out at the beginning of each month with a reminder emailed 10 days or so in advance of the event.
In order to get your profile listed on the Reno Chapter webpage, all you have to do is add the Reno Chapter link to your Profile Page and upload your photo. A recent photo of yourself is the best way for people to get to know you and remember who you are!
The Reno Chapter Area serves all professional women located east of the Sierra Nevada mountains in-and-around Reno, Sparks, Carson City and south, Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and California counties of Modoc, Lassen, Plumas, Sierra, Nevada and Placer. So all professional women east of the Pacific Crest Trail.
My goals for 2014 are to establish officers positions to help spread the work load and get us more organized. Also, I hope to get more Reno Chapter members to attend the monthly meetings.
For those of you that cannot make the monthly meetings, I will be planning to have meetings online in the near future.
I have been an entrepreneur all my life and I am currently a California real estate broker specializing in vacation home ownership in the Graeagle, CA area. I am also theowner of Sierra Adventures, Inc., an independently owned and operated business consulting firm and Regional Visitor Center, serving both northern California. Basically the Sierra Adventure's region is the same region that is covered by the NAPW Reno Chapter.
My past accomplishments include building a 1924 Frank Lloyd Wright design clubhouse called Nakoma, a destination resort located nearby Graeagle and the renowned Dragon golf course. Previous to being a real estate developer, I was a farmer of gourmet vegetables, a computer programmer, a real estate agent and broker, and mortgage loan broker.
Sierra Adventures, my newest endeavor. It helps small businesses in the region with marketing, media, advertising, website setup and social media, and Visitor Center.

It was such a pleasure attending the February meeting of the Reno Chapter. The drive from Sacramento was well worth it, and I'd highly recommend anyone in the area to try and make the March meeting. No matter which chapter I've attended, the women have been warm and welcoming. The women of the NAPW are just the best, and it is such a pleasure to meet and get to know new members all the time. Thank you Mimi for serving as the Reno Chapter President and making me feel s... Read More
