It was such a pleasure attending the February meeting of the Reno Chapter. The drive from Sacramento was well worth it, and I'd highly recommend anyone in the area to try and make the March meeting. No matter which chapter I've attended, the women have been warm and welcoming. The women of the NAPW are just the best, and it is such a pleasure to meet and get to know new members all the time. Thank you Mimi for serving as the Reno Chapter President and making me feel s... Read More

The Reno Chapter Area serves all professional women located east of the Sierra Nevada mountains in-and -Reno, Sparks, Carson City and south, Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and California counties of Modoc, Lassen, Plumas, Sierra, Nevada and Placer.
I am truly excited about being President of the Reno Chapter. My extensive small business experience and my current business are a good fit.
I have been an entrepreneur for more than 30 years and I am the current owner of Sierra Adventures, Inc., an independently owned and operated business consulting firm and Regional Visitor Center serving both northern California and northern Nevada eastside of the Sierras.
Sierra Adventures helps small business in the region with marketing, media, advertising, website setup and social media setup. Give us a call after reviewing our website at www.SierraAdventures.com and we'll help you to meet your goals and dreams.
Sierra Adventures also offers its business association members pamphlet distribution within the region. Our kiosk-style displays are stratgically located within highly trafficked small businesses around the region. We distribute business cards, flyers and brochures.
Our new Regional Visitor Center is located at 8906 Hwy 89 and Hwy 70 at Graeagle 12 miles west of Portola, CA, just 50 miles NW of Reno via I-395 to Hwy 70.
NAPW Members will find great Networking opportunties with the NAPW online, but attending our monthly chapter meetings gets you hands-on and face-to-face networking. You will make and build great relationships with other women in and around the Reno area.
You can email me at NAPWReno@gmail.com or by sending me a message from the Reno Chapter page.
The NAPW Reno Chapter hopes that as it grows it will provide chapter members with informative speakers, workshops, social gatherings, annual awards and most of all . . . . fun!
Right now we are just meeting to get to know each other and grow the group. And it has been a lot of fun!

Reno NAPW Formation
I am very interested in getting a Reno chapter going for the NAPW. Has anything happened since the posts in May? Looks like we could meet sometime soon at a designated place in Reno and see what comes of getting professional women together to start networking. Mimi G Read More
I have been an NAPW member for a few months but was disappointed to find that there is not an active local chapter.
Like me, I am sure you would like to maximize your membership with NAPW. Can we get together and discuss what direction we would like to take here in Reno? I suggest we meet next Wednesday, August 22nd about 6pm. As Danie works for the Peppermill, why not patronize them and meet at their coffee shop. If this date is not convenient, please give me some dates so we can get our calendars synced.
I look forward to meeting you and organizing a chapter here in Reno. Our numbers may be small but, as we all know, it is quality that we are after and that focus will spread.
Any questions, suggestions, etc. please share. I would appreciate your RSVP by Tuesday, August 21 so we can have the correct table set-up.
Thank you for your time.

How about a Meet and Greet!
I am a new member to NAPW. I can' t see where we have established a working chapter. Any interest in getting together as a group so we can get a Reno chapter active? We could do dinner or else just meet at one of our business locations. Either way, we could then begin to structure our presence here in Reno. Thoughts??? Read More
I’m new to NAPW, and was looking forward to meeting monthly with other professional women in the Reno/Sparks/Carson area. It doesn’t look like our chapter is very active! Is anyone interested in an informal, “meet & greet” event this month? Maybe something right after work, for an hour or so? No agenda, just networking. Any interest? Read More
