NAPW Focuses on Charities with the Launch of the NAPW Charity in Focus Initiative
The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America
We’re proud to introduce the NAPW Charity in Focus initiative. We developed this idea as a way to help a selected organization gain exposure by being highlighted directly on the NAPW homepage for several months.

The idea to continuously highlight a new charity on the widely viewed NAPW homepage emerged when we successfully used this approach in an emergency pilot project to raise money for the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.  Within just a few weeks, NAPW members donated nearly $ 4,000 to The Red Cross directly through the micro-site linked from the homepage banner.

We quickly realized that with 150,000 members, we have the opportunity to help make a difference in the world.  The NAPW Charity in Focus initiative was born from the inspiring outpour of members who made donations in a time of need.

The current NAPW Charity in Focus is “The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America.” Led by three incredible professional women, the foundation is dedicated to saving lives by promoting the selfless act of kidney donations from unrelated living donors to individuals in need.  Please read more about The Flood Sisters from the banner on our homepage and of course, feel free to donate directly and help them save lives!

Patty Purpur And the winner is....
Patty Purpur

NAPW recently launched a contest to invite one member to be a guest on NAPW In the Studio.
After reviewing dozens of submissions, we chose member Patty Purpur, a motivational speaker and founder of TimeOut Services, a wellness company. NAPW flew Patty to New York from Silicon Valley, California. She enjoyed a few nights at the famed Waldorf Astoria and visited the Empire State Building for the first time! While in the studio, Patty shared tips for managing change, setting goals, and discussed how to follow the roadmap to success.

We will be airing interviews with Patty throughout the year.
